2012 SNAP Experience Now Accepting Registrations!

For the third year in a row, ACAA is hosting our SNAP Experience during Hunger Action Month. We invite you to learn more about the Experience by reading through the Archive on this blog (just scroll down) and checking the tabs across the top to access our About page, FAQ, and to Join the Experience.
This year’s SNAP Experience will run from September 15 – September 21. Participants should plan to participate in the full 7-day Experience, and all the materials you need to prepare can be found here. The budget for this year’s Experience is $29 for one person. If you wish to participate as a household or have questions about how we reached our budget, please refer to the FAQ page of this site for details.

Each time we do this, we find that the feedback and reflections from participants make up the richest parts of the Experience. We encourage participants to write about their experience and submit reflections to us (kkahle@azcaa.org) to be added to this blog. Your reflections don’t have to be great works of American literature; the most important component of writing a reflection is that you provide us with some honest insight into your Experience. Some ideas for topics and some blogging prompts can be found here, or you can scroll through our Archives to see what others have written and find some inspiration. We look forward to hearing from participants this year and sharing your Experiences with others!

Don’t forget to register and share with others!

See you in September!

– The ACAA staff (Cynthia, Katie, Kelly, and Monique)
